Plants
: specially designed for growing strawberries in shipping container farms, leafy greens, vine crops;

Facilities: vertical farms with zipgrow towers, aeroponic towers;

Heat: high heat generation that needs to be taken away with water cooling;

Uniformity: good uniformity due to wide 120deg beam angle and high power. Recommended spacing between lights 30cm. For distances to plants higher than 40cm the LEDs with beam angle 80 degrees can be used. The light is double-sided and is best for installation in the aisles of vertical towers with high light plants like strawberries.;

Spectrum: up to 3umol/J in red blue version, white can be added to widen the spectrum;

Ingress and impact protection: IP65 dustproof and protected from water spray from all directions, IK08 impact protection;

Usability and service: The lights come in 30x30mm bar form factor with pre-installed quick connectors for water cooling pipes, electrical cables come as pigtails or can be fitted with quick connectors. The system is somewhat complicated and needs plumbing work and additional chilling unit to be installed to cool water. The advantage is that the hot water can be stored and used for heating the farm when the lights are off. Mounting vertically on stainless steel brackets. Each light is powered by a single 320W LED driver with either universal voltage 90-305VAC or high voltage 180-528VAC.

Application

AquaBar water cooled LED grow light system is designed to supplement or substitute sunlight in plant growing applications when sunlight is absent or not sufficient for photosynthesis. It can function as a single light source or serve as supplement or substitute to HPS lighting.
